Scripture of the Month: Isaiah 43: 18-19

Scripture of the Month: Matthew 6:31-34
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Scripture of the Month: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24
16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit.
20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Scripture of the Month: Luke 2:14-15
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
Prayer

October
Scripture of the Month: 1 John 4:18-19
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made in perfect love. We love him, because he first loved us.
Let us continue to pray for those that are currently fighting breast cancer, survivors of breast cancers, and warriors that have succumb to the disease.
Black women and white women get breast cancer at about the same rate, but black women die from breast cancer at a higher rate.
We know that early detection of breast cancer can help to improve a woman’s chance of survival. Mammography is the best tool for finding breast cancer early.
• Regular mammography screenings can help to save lives.
• More than 90% of women who find and treat their breast cancer early are cancer-free at five years.
• About 60% of breast cancer cases are diagnosed before they spread.
• Many breast lumps are not cancerous – see your doctor right away to be sure.
To reduce your risk of Breast Cancer:
Keep a healthy weight
Excercise Regularly
Do not drink alcohol, or limit alcoholic beverages
Breastfeed your children, if possible
